Africa Gambit is the revised, second edition of The Pirate Republic.

To color in the stories of the game, we've partnered with famous historical fiction writer, Helen Hollick. A part of the story line and global missions will be based on the Sea Witch Voyages and When The Mermaid Sings, from her nautical fantasy adventure series.

The great thing about historical Pirates is their narratives pretty much write themselves. You'll relive those campaigns while adding a bit of your own decisions to tell the story as you heard it or as you see fit. That's about as far as I'll let you peak under the game design tent...for now.
